OFFICE ASSISTANT

Must have excellent computer proficiency including skill with word processing programs. Office Assistants provide support to the Legal Assistants to enhance attorney effectiveness by providing information-management support; producing information; assisting in maintaining attorney’s docket; transcribe, format, input, edit, retrieve, copy and transmit text, data, and graphics; assist with case preparation; follow-up on delegated assignments. Successful Office Assistants work accurately and efficiently and demonstrate good proofreading skills. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications, skills, and experience.


PATENT AGENT or PATENT ATTORNEY
(BIOTECH/PHARMA)

Preferably Master’s degree or higher in biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related field

Draft and prosecute patent applications relating to biotechnology and pharmaceutical inventions for individual inventors, universities, hospitals, start-ups, and muti-national corporations. Develop patent strategies for clients, and manage their U.S. and international patent portfolios. File and prosecute incoming patent applications from foreign clients and associates. Communicate with foreign associates to provide instructions for prosecution of foreign patent applications for domestic clients. Prepare Freedom-to-Operate and Patentability Opinions.
