Mr. Glenn P. Ladwig, Partner of the Firm, Guest Speaker at the University of South Florida.

Mr. Ladwig was invited by the University of South Florida’s Technology Transfer Office to speak to university researchers and technology transfer professionals. The presentation was entitled “Today’s Forecast for Patent Eligibility of Life Science Innovations: Cloudy with a Chance of Patents”. Mr. Ladwig discussed how recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions, and the U.S. Patent Office’s interpretations of these decisions, have changed the landscape for patent-eligibility as it relates to natural products, personalized medicine, and other innovations in the life sciences.
